We are looking for a Junior Software Automation Engineer, with an interest in software automation using enterprise-grade tools, scripts, and ML models, for our Islamabad office.

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience in programming in Java or Python
• Hands-on experience with Javascript, Typescript, jQuery
• Must be a self-learner and willing to learn new technologies including AI/ML app services, automation, cloud, etc.
• Strong programming & data-structures concepts, such as linked-list, queue, stack, and hashmap with their performance, and efficiency usage scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design algorithms of programs.
• Written well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related subject

Should-Have

• Strong Concepts of multi-threaded applications
• Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, and Web services
• Experience with Selenium Web Driver is a big plus
• Exposure to building AI/ML-based applications, or enough curiosity about AI/ML space
• Hands on experience in Unit testing using JUnit
• Knowledge of build tools e.g. Maven, Gradle. Cloud deployment experience
• Experience in web frontend frameworks such as Angular / React / Vue

Solid programming skills or interests may lead to product development roles as well.
