We seek a Junior Software Automation Engineer interested in software automation using enterprise-grade tools, scripts, and ML models for our Islamabad office.

Responsibilities

• Write code snippets in Javascript or Java for automation
• Basics of databases, and data analysis using SQL
• Compose automation workflows
• Testing, monitoring, and bug fixing of workflows

Must have

• Hands-on experience of programming in Java or Python
• Hands-on experience with Javascript, Typescript, jQuery
• Hands experience with SQL and RDBMS such as MySQL
• Excellent debugging skills
• Must be a self-learner and willing to learn new technologies such as scripting automation tools, automation, cloud, etc.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related subject

Should have

• Experience with Selenium or Puppeteer is a big plus
• Hands-on experience in Unit testing using JUnit
• Know-how of web frontend frameworks such as Angular / React / Vue
• Good programming & data-structures concepts, such as linked list, queue, maps, etc
• Good understanding of multi-threaded applications

Solid programming skills or interests might lead to development roles as well.
