We are seeking an experienced 3D Modeling and Simulation Engineer to design, build, and optimize high-performance interactive simulation software and web-based rendering pipelines. In this role, you will leverage strong core concepts in computer graphics algorithms, web graphics technologies like WebGL, and emerging AI-driven 3D generation tools to create responsive 2D/3D environments directly in browser platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement real-time 2D/3D computer graphics algorithms, rendering engines, and interactive web-based simulation tools.
  • Write clean, performant code using WebGL and modern web graphics frameworks (e.g., Three.js, Babylon.js, or WebGPU).
  • Develop custom shader pipelines (GLSL) and apply key graphics algorithms for lighting, rasterization, spatial partitioning, and collision detection.
  • Apply core spatial algorithms including placement, routing, and coordinate transformation logic to manage scene elements and dynamic layouts.
  • Implement workflows and pipelines to convert 2D images into textured 3D models, ensuring accurate color mapping and UV texturing.
  • Integrate 3D modeling frameworks, lightweight physics engines, and scene graphs into cohesive simulation environments.
  • Explore, evaluate, and integrate emerging AI 3D modeling tools (e.g., NeRFs, Gaussian Splatting, procedural AI generation, texture synthesis) to accelerate model creation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in graphics engineering, web 3D simulation, or interactive graphics development.
  • Strong proficiency in WebGL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and popular WebGL frameworks (e.g., Three.js or Babylon.js).
  • Strong foundation in core computer graphics algorithms (e.g., rasterization, shadow mapping, culling, mesh processing).
  • Practical familiarity with techniques for 2D-to-3D model generation, UV mapping, color projection, and texture alignment.
  • Hands-on expertise with transformation matrices, placement optimization, and spatial routing algorithms.
  • Deep familiarity with graphics pipelines, shaders (GLSL), vector math, linear algebra, and 3D spatial transformations.
  • Experience working with 3D math libraries and standard web 3D file formats (e.g., glTF/GLB, OBJ, FBX).

Preferred / Plus Skills

  • Knowledge of OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, or native graphics programming in C++/C#.
  • Exposure to next-generation web graphics standards like WebGPU.
  • Experience with AI-assisted image-to-3D tools and neural rendering techniques (e.g., photogrammetry, NeRFs, Gaussian Splatting, AI texture generation).
  • Experience with engine ecosystems like Unity or Unreal Engine (including WebGL exports).
